Our agency is recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer for a leading organisation in the defence sector. You will lead system-level integration, verification and validation activities across a large and complex engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop V&V plans, compliance matrices, test plans and procedures.
  • Lead the planning and execution of system verification and validation activities.
  • Review requirements for traceability and testability.
  • Coordinate system and subsystem integration and testing activities.
  • Analyse results, manage defects and oversee regression testing.
  • Work closely with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.

About you

  • Extensive systems integration, verification and validation experience.
  • Strong systems engineering and requirements-management knowledge.
  • Defence experience, ideally across Command and Control, ISR or related systems.
  • Knowledge of MBSE and tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody or ETM.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Current NV1 clearance and ability to meet applicable ITAR requirements.
