People accountable. AI supported.
We believe AI can’t replace the context, curiosity or judgement that makes a good recruiter. That’s why we’re open about where AI plays a part in your candidate experience with Talent, what it means for you and why our people remain accountable at each stage.
Where AI plays a part
Keeping candidate information useful
Working in the background to fill in the appropriate fields, our AI enrichment tool helps turn available information about skills, experience, availability or working rights into structured details our consultants can search.
Helping our consultants find relevant candidates
Search and Match compares available candidate information against an open role and gives our consultants a list of potentially relevant people, ordered by a score informed by job titles, role descriptions, resume content and listed skills.
Lucy, our AI screening assistant
Lucy gives candidates a way to begin a screening conversation outside of office hours when a Talent consultant isn’t available, helping our team better understand if a candidate is logistically a good fit (e.g. by location) and whether their skills and experience align with the role.
Every question Lucy asks on behalf of our team is written, reviewed and approved by our team. The relevant Talent consultant reviews candidate interactions with Lucy once they’re back online.
How does Talent use AI responsibly?
Our approach is built around clear roles, accountable people and evidence.
-
We identify AI clearly.
You should know when you’re interacting with Lucy rather than a Talent consultant.
-
People remain accountable.
AI may support the process, but our people are held responsible for reviewing information and applying judgement.
-
We test before we trust.
We assess every tool against evidence. If it doesn’t meet our standards, we refine it or stop using it completely.
-
You can raise a concern.
If something doesn’t look right, you can reach out to the consultant who listed the job ad or servicedesk@talentinternational.com

A Talent consultant then reviews those candidates, applies their own judgement and decides who to put forward. The hiring decision remains with the client.
