SAP Software Engineer

Join a multidisciplinary technology team responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining complex enterprise applications within a large-scale technology environment.

This is a senior software engineering role with a strong SAP focus, combining technical leadership, application development and solution design. You’ll work across SAP technologies and enterprise integrations, helping guide technical decisions, maintain code quality and support the delivery of reliable, secure software solutions.

The Role

Working closely with software engineers, architects and business stakeholders, you’ll provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, from design and development through to release and ongoing support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading software development and technical design activities across SAP and integrated enterprise applications
  • Supporting the development, enhancement and maintenance of solutions using SAP S/4HANA, ABAP and UI5 technologies
  • Reviewing technical designs, guiding development practices and ensuring high standards of code quality, security and maintainability
  • Leading software integration, testing, release and deployment activities, including resolving complex technical and production issues
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to developers while contributing to development standards and continuous improvement

About You

We’re particularly interested in:

  • Strong software engineering experience within SAP enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated development experience with SAP technologies such as S/4HANA, ABAP and SAP UI5
  • Experience leading software development activities and providing technical guidance to engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of SAP application design, development, integration and ongoing maintenance
  • Experience with software configuration, release management, deployment and production support
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, secure coding, testing and quality assurance
  • Experience working with complex enterprise systems and collaborating with architects, developers and business stakeholders
  • Experience with Angular, Node.js or other modern web development technologies would be highly regarded
