An exciting opportunity is available for a highly experienced Senior ICT Business Analyst to join a leading utilities organisation delivering critical technology and business transformation initiatives.

This role will see you working closely with project managers, business stakeholders and technical teams to analyse complex business requirements, develop detailed documentation and support the successful delivery of ICT projects. You will play a key role in helping staff transition to new systems, processes and ways of working across a diverse technology environment.

Your duties will include:

• Leading business analysis activities across complex ICT projects, including operational technology, cloud and on-premises environments.
• Developing high-quality business cases, User Requirements Specifications, solution design documentation and detailed configuration documents.
• Engaging with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Working closely with ICT Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are completed to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Identifying business challenges, dependencies and risks, and contributing to effective mitigation strategies.
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops and meetings to clarify requirements, manage expectations and support project decision-making.
• Supporting organisational change initiatives and helping stakeholders transition to new systems, processes and ways of working.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Senior ICT Business Analyst, ideally within complex enterprise ICT environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing complex business cases, business requirements documentation and technical project deliverables.
• Strong business acumen and a customer-focused approach to identifying and solving complex business problems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical, structured and process-driven approach.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, business SMEs, technical teams and project managers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate and professional stakeholder communications.
• Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
