Business Analyst – Collaboration & Productivity Platforms

Perth CBD | Hybrid | 6-month contract | Market rate

Our client is seeking a technically capable collaboration and productivity platforms professional to guide a portfolio of enterprise platforms and SaaS services. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical judgement, operational governance and team coordination.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and governance for Microsoft 365, Atlassian and related SaaS services.
  • Shape platform strategy, roadmaps, technical standards, lifecycle and service ownership with platform specialists.
  • Oversee platform health, licensing, vendor engagement, supportability and complex escalations.
  • Review significant platform changes, integrations and service decisions.
  • Drive automation, self-service, standardisation, AI adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate squad planning, backlogs, priorities, reviews and 90-day planning across BAU and project work.
  • Partner with Cyber Security, Identity, Architecture, Service Desk, vendors and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate technical debt, platform risks and capability gaps.

What you will bring

  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Atlassian or a comparable enterprise collaboration platform.
  • Technical leadership across platforms, teams or technology domains.
  • Platform governance, lifecycle, roadmaps, technical standards and service improvement experience.
  • ITSM understanding, ideally including ServiceNow; strong incident, change and problem management knowledge.
  • Understanding of enterprise identity, security, integrations and cloud/SaaS service management.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, stakeholder management and prioritisation.
  • Exposure to Miro, monday.com, LucidLink, automation and emerging AI technologies is advantageous.
