Securing top professionals for a top solutions provider

Talent’s Microsoft Team quickly mapped out the market to assess the industry’s toughest competition and how they could best utilize their network connections for the skills LBMC was searching for. With a combined 30+ years of industry experience, Talent’s team used a head-hunting approach when looking for qualified Dynamics 365 candidates. A well-developed go-to-market strategy also enabled the team to separate top candidates from competitors in the highly competitive Microsoft market landscape.

LBMC’s D365 Business Central Practice Manager, Patrick Johnson, shares that “As a manager, I don’t have the time to look at 90 candidates at a time,” and due to business priorities, doesn’t have all the time to post jobs to LinkedIn. “Working with Mike D’Esposito and the Talent team, I can focus on my operational business priorities rather than poring through resumes.” LBMC does take a holistic approach to hiring practices, as they strive to find candidates that fit skills, culture, and the ability to collaborate across organizational units. The Microsoft market is constantly evolving, providing new features and technologies that increase demand for select technical and client-facing skills. After understanding LBMC’s exact needs, we placed multiple Business Central contractors who added immense capabilities to LBMC’s Microsoft projects. Leveraging this expanded expertise, LBMC then broadened their search for D365 technologies, securing multiple full-time Business Central hires and Dynamics 365 Power Platform consultants. Talent was able to increase LBMC’s headcount size, with more than half of the new hires being women and continues to provide hiring solutions wherever needed.
