Job Summary / Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of strategic zero-emissions heavy mining equipment initiatives. Working with vendor partners and internal stakeholders you will oversee project delivery ensuring solutions are delivered safely on time within budget and ready for operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across vendors and operational teams.
  • Develop project delivery strategies plans and reporting.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate risks and issues.
  • Support operational readiness and project handover.
  • Manage project scope budget and schedule.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to achieve delivery outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ project management experience.
  • Experience delivering complex mining projects.
  • Experience within EPCM contractor supplier or R&D environments.
  • Experience managing large supply contracts.
  • Qualification or experience in mechanical electrical mining or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of HME desirable.
  • Working knowledge of mining business systems desirable.

DFS Specialist Engineering & Delivery Lead

As an experienced Engineering and Delivery Lead you will oversee the successful delivery of a critical operational communications infrastructure program. Reporting to the Digital Field Services Delivery Manager, you will provide technical leadership, delivery assurance and strategic direction across a complex portfolio while ensuring work is delivered safely and in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead contractor and service provider performance across the delivery portfolio.
  • Provide strategic direction to ensure program objectives are achieved.
  • Communicate engineering objectives and system strategies to stakeholders.
  • Manage the operation and future direction of the delivery program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and technology leaders.
  • Guide service provider workforces to deliver work in accordance with engineering standards and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT Change Control and Engineering Management of Change processes.
  • Safeguard production environments through effective governance and delivery oversight.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or PMO.
  • Accredited tertiary qualification in Electronic or Communications Engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams and engaging with senior business stakeholders.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within the Engineering and Technology industry.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience supporting Operational Communications and IT services within the energy industry.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple complex programs across offshore and onshore assets.
  • Ability to establish governance frameworks for service provider delivered projects.
  • Understanding of Process Safety Management principles.
  • Understanding of Safety Critical Elements and Major Accident Event Bow Tie methodology.
