An opportunity to join a development team delivering system upgrades supporting a major state government regulatory reform program. This role will contribute to enhancements of an enterprise Licensing & Registration platform aligned with new legislative requirements, working within a secure and complex government technology environment.

About You:
You are an experienced Oracle Developer with strong database and APEX development capability. You are comfortable working within structured government environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to secure, high-quality system delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

  • Oracle APEX development experience
  • Strong PL/SQL and SQL development capability
  • Experience working with Oracle Database environments
  • JavaScript development experience
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, DevOps, Blob Storage and Key Vault
  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
  • Familiarity with tools such as Toad, Git and ServiceNow

About the Role:

  • Develop and enhance applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database technologies
  • Support integration with an existing enterprise Licensing & Registration platform
  • Contribute to secure coding practices, testing, and technical documentation
  • Work closely with Lead Developers, ESB and .NET teams across the delivery program
  • Assist with environment management and deployment processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across development and delivery practices

Contract: Until 31 December 2026 with likely extensions
Hours: 37.5 per week
Work arrangement: Onsite in Perth CBD

Job Summary / Overview

An experienced Analytics Engineer is required to support asset analysis and modelling through the development of structured data models and reporting solutions. The role focuses on transforming complex SAP PM and CMMS maintenance datasets into reliable analytical outputs that support planners reliability engineers and maintenance stakeholders. This position collaborates closely with developers and operational teams to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting insights.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and maintain curated Snowflake SQL data models and reporting views supporting asset performance and maintenance analytics
* Transform structure and validate SAP PM and CMMS datasets including equipment functional locations work orders maintenance plans and items
* Develop and enhance Power BI datasets and reports to support maintenance strategy and performance monitoring
* Drive continuous improvement in data quality through investigation testing and issue resolution
* Maintain documentation governance and traceability across analytical models and reporting solutions
* Collaborate with technical teams and operational stakeholders to deliver effective analytical outputs
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering Data Science Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
* Strong SQL capability using Snowflake or SQL Server with experience in data modelling and transformation
* Experience developing structured analytical datasets and reporting solutions such as Power BI
* Experience working with SAP PM or CMMS maintenance data structures highly desirable
* Experience within mining Fixed Plant or Heavy Mobile Equipment maintenance environments advantageous
* Python experience for data transformation or automation desirable
Skills & Competencies
* Strong SQL data modelling and transformation skills
* Experience developing Power BI reporting solutions
* Understanding of SAP PM or CMMS maintenance data structures
* Strong attention to data integrity documentation and governance
