Their technology risk and controls capability is undergoing significant investment and growth, creating an opportunity to join the function at an important stage of its development.
The role
We are looking for a Technology Controls Senior Analyst to join a growing Technology Controls team on an initial 9-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.
This is a hands-on controls testing and assurance role where you will work across a significant technology controls program, gaining broad exposure across technology, cyber, data and risk.
You will be joining the function during a major period of growth, giving you the opportunity to build strong internal visibility, work closely with senior stakeholders and position yourself for further opportunities as the team continues to expand.
The wider program involves a substantial volume of technology controls testing, with the Analysts acting as the hands-on members of the team responsible for completing walkthroughs, assessing controls and providing independent challenge.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hands-on testing across technology controls
- Conduct control walkthroughs with technology and business stakeholders
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls
- Review supporting evidence and document testing outcomes
- Identify control weaknesses and provide independent challenge
- Work with stakeholders to support control uplift and remediation
- Escalate technology, cyber and data risk issues where required
- Deliver testing outcomes accurately and within agreed program timeframes
Skills and experience
- 3+ years’ experience across technology risk, technology controls, IT audit or controls assurance
- Strong hands-on controls testing experience
- Experience working within a large, complex and ideally regulated organisation
- Confidence assessing control effectiveness and identifying gaps
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage testing activities end to end
- Exposure to technology risk, cyber security or IT control frameworks
- CISA, CRISC or similar qualifications are highly regarded
