Technical Lead – Azure / .NET

Canberra | Permanent | $175,000-$190,000 base + super
Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite | Current or reinstatable NV1 required

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead to manage a team delivering and supporting business-critical applications within a Federal Government environment.

This role combines technical leadership, client and vendor management, and responsibility for application stability. You’ll guide application enhancements and modernisation, oversee Azure environments, and ensure projects are ready to transition into ongoing support.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of application enhancements and modernisation.

  • Provide technical guidance across .NET/C#, Azure and application integrations.

  • Manage BAU priorities, incidents, changes and certificate management.

  • Establish clear project handover and service acceptance requirements.

  • Work with clients, architects and vendors to resolve issues and improve accountability.

  • Mentor team members and maintain technical documentation.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, .NET/C#, SOAP and REST APIs.

  • Previous experience leading technical teams and managing delivery.

  • Experience supporting production applications and Azure platform services.

  • Understanding of DevOps, environment management and certificate management.

  • Experience transitioning projects into BAU support.

  • Strong communication, client and vendor management skills.

  • Australian citizenship and current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 clearance.
