Systems Engineer – Azure / Microsoft 365

Initial 3-Month Contract | Perth | Azure Cloud Environment

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure, Intune and Microsoft 365 to join a Technical Services Delivery team supporting a large-scale cloud environment.

This role will focus on the administration, implementation, deployment and ongoing improvement of Azure and Microsoft 365 services, while providing senior-level technical support and resolving escalated infrastructure and cloud issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and support Microsoft Intune, including endpoint and device management
• Implement, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Configure and support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Office 365
• Administer and maintain OneDrive and other Microsoft cloud services
• Manage SCCM patch management
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated cloud, infrastructure and application issues
• Support and improve the organisation’s broader IT infrastructure
• Contribute to cloud design, BAU activities and scheduled project work
• Identify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability and maturity of the environment

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5+ years’ Systems Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune
• Proven experience implementing and deploying Azure services
• Strong knowledge of core Microsoft Azure technologies and services
• Demonstrated configuration experience across Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams and Office 365
• Experience with SCCM patch management
• Strong experience supporting, maintaining and improving enterprise IT infrastructure
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and time-management skills

Desirable

Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Forms, Yammer/Viva Engage, Citrix and Red Hat Linux would be advantageous.
