Our Victorian Government client is seeking a Supplier & Contracts Specialist to support a major digital services program within a large and complex technology environment.

This role will focus on supplier onboarding, vendor coordination, service readiness and ongoing supplier management, working across a growing panel of software suppliers. You will act as a key point of coordination between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring requirements, actions, dependencies and issues are effectively managed through to service commencement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the onboarding and service readiness of suppliers, tracking requirements, actions, dependencies and outstanding issues.
  • Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure catalogue and pricebook information, support arrangements, operational processes and service requirements are ready for commencement.
  • Coordinate with technical teams around requirements such as SSO, identity and access management, APIs and data exchange – you don’t need to be the technical SME, but should be comfortable working within a technology environment.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier/vendor relationships, helping resolve issues and ensuring actions are progressed through to completion.
  • Maintain supplier documentation, onboarding checklists, status reporting, processes and service transition information.

About you:

  • Experience in supplier/vendor management, contract coordination, procurement support, supplier onboarding or service delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working directly with external suppliers.
  • Experience coordinating supplier deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
  • Exposure to technology, software/SaaS, ICT procurement or IT service environments would be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Victorian Government or broader public-sector experience would be advantageous.
