The role
Our Client is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of a complex, bespoke solution within a major digital modernisation program. This role requires a hands-on architect who can translate business challenges into practical application, integration and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture across discovery, design and delivery.
  • Design and document bespoke application and integration solutions.
  • Develop architecture specifications, solution options and technical roadmaps.
  • Support the modernisation of complex legacy systems and undocumented business rules.
  • Assess how AI can improve discovery, staff efficiency and decision support.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience as a dedicated Solution Architect, with recent hands-on delivery experience.
  • Proven ability to design and document bespoke applications and integration solutions.
  • Strong experience modernising legacy systems where standard COTS products are not suitable.
  • Practical knowledge of incorporating AI capabilities into enterprise solutions.
  • Experience designing isolated AI environments in Azure or AWS is highly desirable.
