Join a multidisciplinary delivery team working across enterprise Azure cloud environments, application services and the integration of cloud and on-premises technologies.

This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering and software development. We’re looking for someone whose current strengths are on the Azure cloud side, but who brings a strong development foundation and is comfortable working with code, APIs, automation and modern software delivery practices.

The Role

Working within a specialist delivery team, you’ll contribute to the development, automation and ongoing improvement of enterprise cloud environments and the applications that operate across them.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engineering and supporting solutions across Microsoft Azure and integrated on-premises environments
  • Using software development skills across .NET, C#, SQL and REST APIs
  • Contributing to cloud provisioning, automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Building and improving CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipeline automation
  • Working collaboratively within an Agile delivery team across development, testing, integration and technical documentation

About You

We’re particularly interested in:

  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud engineering experience within enterprise environments
  • A software engineering or development background, with capability across .NET, C#, SQL or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience provisioning and managing cloud technologies and infrastructure
  • Experience with REST APIs and integration between cloud and on-premises systems
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, source control and modern software delivery practices
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
  • Experience working within fast-paced Agile delivery environments
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps pipeline automation, Azure Data environments, PowerShell/Bash, automated testing and JavaScript/TypeScript would be highly regarded
