Opportunity
Great opportunity for Enterprise Architect, Domain or Lead Program level Architect with 10+ years’ experience in Architecture working with enterprise class applications and platforms (Salesforce/AWS ideally), and experience in payments integrity, digital and data forensics, or fraud investigations, ideally within a government context. You’ll be joining a large high-profile Crack Down on Fraud program working in a matrix style structure with a team of 5-6 (PM, Tech Lead, BA, DevOps) and engaging across the broader architecture forum with 12+ members.

This is a pivotal role which requires exceptional communication skills and professional polish to convey and formally present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the Executive.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Delivering high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose and align solutions with Agency goals and objectives.
  • Helping to develop and ensure compliance with reference models, principles, policies, standards and strategic ICT roadmap.
  • Engaging with the business and project team to understand the tactical & strategic objectives and requirements.
  • Engaging with the enterprise architects, solution leads, business representatives, development team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains.
  • Providing technical oversight and facilitating complex issues resolution arising during project delivery.
  • Ownership and accountability for leading and producing the delivery of coherent technical solutions and technical documentation across the domain.

Success measures

  • Minimum 10 years of architecture experience with broad technical knowledge, including experience leading the design of complex enterprise class platforms ideally Salesforce integration
  • Previous experience operating as an Enterprise Architect, Lead Program Architect or Domain Architect
  • Excellent listening, communication and stakeholder management skills to translate business capability into technical requirements and engage with cross-functional Agile delivery teams and government Executives
  • Experience balancing project and program, project and organisational goals
  • Act as the bridge between the business into the ICT function for solution design and requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent highly regarded
  • Industry experience across government, health or insurance sectors, payments and claims, or other related industries with large customer bases and complex payments
  • Any experience in digital and data forensics and/or payments integrity would be highly regarded
  • TOGAF Certified or equivalent IT architectural qualifications like Zachman, AWS / Azure Architecture qualifications
