Senior Project Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a large governemnt body to deliver a significant transformation program. You’ll lead business and technology projects that modernise core claims systems, improve processes and deliver better outcomes for customers and employees.

The role

  • Manage end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
  • Own project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks and dependencies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams using Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with executives, business leaders, technology teams and external vendors.
  • Provide clear governance, reporting and recommendations to steering committees.
  • Partner with change specialists to support business readiness and adoption.

About you

  • Demonstrated success delivering complex business and technology transformation projects.
  • Strong senior project management experience, including managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organisations.
  • Strong financial management, governance, risk management and vendor management skills.
  • Experience leading and coaching cross-functional teams.
  • PRINCE2 and/or Agile certification.
  • Experience in insurance, health, disability or government is highly desirable.
