An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of significant infrastructure and construction projects. It is a 2 year fixed term contract role.

Based in Springvale, this is a highly visible client-side role where success will depend just as much on your ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and bring people on the journey as it will on your technical project delivery capability.

Reporting into a senior infrastructure leader, you will take ownership of the planning and delivery of major physical infrastructure projects from early concept and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and completion.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with senior executives, operational teams, finance, procurement and other internal stakeholders.
  • Managing external consultants, contractors, suppliers, statutory authorities and government stakeholders.
  • Translating different stakeholder requirements into practical project outcomes and maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing and maintaining project execution strategies, project plans and procurement plans.
  • Managing design, construction, civil works, commissioning and project close-out activities.

You will ideally bring:

  • Significant experience as a client side Project Manager delivering major instrastructure projects
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across executives, operational teams, consultants, contractors and government stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial capability across budgets, forecasting, procurement and contract management.
  • Experience managing projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning and completion.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and influencing capability.
  • Experience operating within a complex, regulated or government-related environment would be highly regarded.
  • A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
