Senior Program Manager / Project Director – SAP HCM & Payroll Transformation

Sydney CBD Hybrid | 6-9 Month Contract

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager / Project Director to lead a complex, enterprise-wide SAP HCM and Payroll transformation for a large national organisation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on consolidating multiple businesses, HR systems, payroll processes and workforce operating models into a unified platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end accountability for a major SAP HCM and Payroll transformation.
  • Oversee the consolidation of HR systems, payroll processes, workforce data and operating models across multiple business entities.
  • Lead program governance, budgets, delivery teams, implementation partners and executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage complex dependencies across SAP SuccessFactors, payroll, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover and business readiness.
  • Drive successful transformation outcomes across technology, people and business processes.

Essential Experience

  • Extensive Senior Program Management or Project Director experience leading large-scale enterprise transformations.
  • Significant delivery experience across BOTH HCM and Payroll, not solely one discipline.
  • Strong SAP transformation background, including SAP SuccessFactors exposure.
  • Proven accountability for complex, multi-workstream programs involving substantial budgets, delivery teams and implementation partners.
  • Exceptional executive stakeholder management, commercial acumen and program governance capabilities.

This opportunity requires an established transformation leader with proven end-to-end program accountability, rather than an individual project or functional workstream lead.
