Senior Program Manager

Northern Sydney suburbs | Initial 6-month contract | $1,265 per day including super

We’re seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead project recovery and delivery across a complex telecommunications technology environment.

The opportunity

  • Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.

  • Based in the northern Sydney suburbs, with 3-4 days onsite per week.

  • $1100 – $1,265 per day including super.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and deliver recovery plans for complex, at-risk projects.

  • Support Project Managers with technical delivery issues, project deliverables and tight schedules.

  • Lead weekly project health reviews across professional services, infrastructure and lifecycle delivery streams.

  • Manage customer remediation plans and delivery escalations.

  • Coordinate onshore and offshore teams, resource requirements and workforce planning.

  • Prepare inputs for weekly operational reporting, monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews.

  • Manage financial forecasting, commercial governance and delivery risks.

Experience required

  • 15+ years across IT, Professional Services or Managed Services, including senior program and portfolio delivery.

  • Extensive telecommunications experience.

  • Proven delivery of Containers as a Service platform environments.

  • Experience recovering major, complex projects.

  • Technical knowledge across Infrastructure Services or Systems Integration.

  • Experience managing onshore and offshore delivery teams.

  • Financial forecasting and commercial management experience.

  • ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications preferred.
