Rate: $131.01 per hour inc super // $1048 per day inc super (based on 8 hours)

Duration: 12 months

Talent is currently seeking a Senior Power Platform Application Developer to join a large Queensland Government Department based in Brisbane, CBD.

This is a hands-on development role suited to someone with strong Microsoft Power Platform expertise who is comfortable working across the full application development lifecycle – from solution design and development through to integration, deployment, enhancements and production support.

The Role

  • Design, develop, maintain and enhance applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Develop solutions using Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
  • Build automated business processes and workflows using Power Automate.
  • Undertake data modelling, API development and systems integration.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
  • Support applications throughout the development lifecycle, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, production support and enhancements.
  • Design and build integration components and interfaces.
  • Work with existing applications and solutions developed by other technical teams.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders within a large, complex ICT environment.
  • Contribute to secure, scalable and accessible applications aligned with relevant development standards and WCAG requirements.

About You

  • To be successful, you will ideally bring:

    • 3+ years’ recent hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
    • Strong development experience with Power Apps – Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
    • Strong experience with Power Automate and other Power Platform components.
    • Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
    • Strong skills across data modelling, API development and application integration.
    • Experience working within large, complex enterprise ICT environments.
    • Sound understanding of software development, build and testing methodologies.
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical teams and business stakeholders.
