Opportunity
Our client is an ASX listed asset management and services company based in Melbourne’s CBD. They have a great opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join on contract starting ASAP.

Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, management and optimisation of hybrid Cloud infrastructure that includes Windows Server, AWS, and virtualization technologies. Project work that may include new infrastructure, upgrades, and improvements across a busy technology division.

About You

  • Significant experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
  • Broad technical skills across AWS cloud, Windows
  • AWS certifications (mandatory) and other relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Technical skills that include virtualisation (VMware/HyberV), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and understanding of networks and storage
  • Capabilities with automation and orchestration
  • Scripting with PowerShell and Python
  • IaC / Terraform skills
  • Outstanding stakeholder management across business and technology
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed designs, diagrams etc
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including engagement with vendors and internal stakeholders, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and users
