Lead and empower agile teams as a Scrum Master, removing blockers, driving continuous improvement and helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes in a complex environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members in Agile values, principles, practices and ways of working, building capability and encouraging self-management.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to refine, prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring work remains aligned with delivery goals.
  • Proactively identify and remove blockers, impediments and delivery risks to keep the team focused and progressing.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams and work closely with stakeholders to support effective and timely delivery.
  • Protect the team from unnecessary external interruptions while balancing stakeholder priorities and delivery commitments.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture built on trust, respect, accountability and open communication.
  • Support the team in resolving conflicts and challenges, improving cohesion, motivation, team dynamics and overall performance.
  • Establish and maintain agreed team behaviours, working practices, Agile processes and team social contracts.
  • Support the onboarding of new team members and help them integrate smoothly into established ways of working.
  • Contribute to stakeholder communication and change activities, supporting teams through changes to processes and workplace practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement by researching emerging Agile practices, frameworks, tools and industry trends and applying relevant improvements to the team.
