Our client is seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to join their team and provide a mix of project, systems, reporting and operational support. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident working with data and systems, has strong attention to detail and is happy to step up and assist across the team where required.

  • Initial 3 month contract starting ASAP, $50+super per hour
  • Hybrid role with a minimum 3 days per week on site, inner South East
  • Strong Power BI, Excel and data management skills required

The Project Support Officer will support a range of projects and day-to-day activities, including reporting, data management, system administration and customer support. You’ll need to be comfortable learning new systems and processes and working across different tasks as priorities change.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support across a range of team activities and initiatives
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Use Excel to collate, review, manipulate and maintain operational and project data
  • Undertake data entry, validation and cleansing activities, ensuring strong data accuracy and integrity
  • Assist with data modelling, reporting and analysis
  • Support system configuration, testing, process improvements and implementation activities
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and assist with customer enquiries, including contacting customers directly where required
  • Step into other operational and administrative tasks as required to support the broader team

About You

  • Experience with backend system configuration within an ERP or similar enterprise business system
  • Competent in project and/or technical support, ideally in a Business Analyst capacity
  • Highly competent in Excel and/or Power BI, including data management, modelling and building dashboards
  • Strong general Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent systems aptitude, data entry skills and attention to detail, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to step up and assist across different areas of the team
  • Strong communication skills, including confidence speaking directly with customers when required
  • Available immediately to work full-time for three months, with a minimum of three days per week on site
