Project Officer - EV Grants
Talent International is currently recruiting Project Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. This is a 10 months contract, with the possibility of extension, paying between $42.90 to $70.80 per hour + Super.
7-8 hours per day/ 35-40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP (target by end September 2026)
Location: Hybrid – 3 days WFH
Number of Roles: 2
These positions will support the delivery of Electric Vehicle (EV) grants programs, including grant assessments, acquittals, stakeholder management, documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key components of EV grants programs, including assessments, acquittals and grantee management.
- Prepare and maintain accurate program documentation and reports.
- Manage program data and respond to stakeholder enquiries.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare briefing notes, assessment documents and approval papers.
- Support the delivery of program outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Work across multiple workstreams when required.
Essential Requirements
- At least three years’ project management or project coordination experience, with five years preferred.
- Experience within government, environmental, engineering or grants-related programs.
- Strong documentation, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn grants management systems and processes.
- Grants administration or grants management experience is highly desirable.
Please note: This position is focused on grants and program delivery and is not suited to candidates whose experience is primarily in IT or construction project management.
