We are seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex technical projects across Control Systems and Communications Infrastructure.

These opportunities will suit experienced Project Managers with strong technical backgrounds, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Both positions involve managing projects valued between $2M and $5M, working closely with technical teams, operational stakeholders and external delivery partners.

Role 1: Senior Project Manager – Control Systems

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in industrial control systems and automation projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Control Systems, PLC, SCADA or industrial automation projects.

  • Experience with Rockwell PLCs, PlantPAx or AVEVA Plant SCADA will be highly regarded.

  • Ability to manage technical project delivery, including planning, implementation, testing and commissioning.

  • Experience working within operational environments where safety, production impacts and shutdown planning are key considerations.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Role 2: Senior Project Manager – Communications Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with extensive exposure to communications and network infrastructure projects.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience across network infrastructure, telecommunications or communications projects.

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, fibre optic cabling, network cabinets and associated communications systems.

  • Experience delivering projects within network infrastructure, construction, mining or fleet management systems environments.

  • Ability to interpret technical information from Network Engineers and translate it into practical project delivery plans.

  • Proven experience coordinating technical teams, contractors and stakeholders throughout project execution.

  • Understanding of operational environments, site safety requirements and infrastructure deployment activities.

Requirements Across Both Positions

  • Proven experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks and communications.

  • Demonstrated success delivering projects valued between AUD $2M and $5M.

  • Strong financial management, budgeting and reporting capabilities.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience facilitating risk assessments and managing project risks.

  • Strong focus on safety, operational continuity, production impacts and change management.

  • Experience planning and executing activities within scheduled operational shutdowns.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma).

  • Experience within mining, resources, industrial or other complex operational environments will be highly regarded.

  • Primavera P6 scheduling experience is advantageous but not essential.
