An excellent opportunity for an experienced Policy Manager to lead a small team and lead some substantial peices of work.

The team work on a wide breadth of work across some significant and priority areas, some of which are high profile. This team’s focus is the legislation administered by this public sector organisation, with work at various stages from potential bills in development through to a recently passed Act.

We’re seeking:

  • an experienced central government policy manager
  • people leadership experience
  • strong relationship and stakeholder management
  • a high level of comfort and competence in the first principles policy space.

You’ll lead a small team within the broader policy group and be well supported in this fixed term role. The initial term is for six months, however may extend beyond that.

With more legislative reform in the pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity to lead a team engaged in varied, complex and interesting pieces of work.
