The Role

This is a hands-on Pega Support Lead opportunity within a large enterprise technology environment. The role combines application support with Pega development, configuration and continuous improvement, supporting both day-to-day operational requirements and ongoing delivery initiatives.

You will work across incidents, service requests, defects, user stories and change activity while maintaining the health and stability of the Pega environment. The position suits an experienced Pega practitioner who is comfortable troubleshooting production issues while still contributing directly to configuration and development work.

The position works within an Agile delivery environment using ServiceNow and Jira, with responsibility for meeting agreed service levels and maintaining application health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day application support for Pega platforms, including troubleshooting incidents, service requests, defects and problem tickets.
  • Configure and extend Pega BPM solutions to support changing business requirements and business rules.
  • Develop and implement functionality and defect fixes while maintaining configuration and code integrity.
  • Manage work through ServiceNow and Jira, ensuring incidents, requests, changes and delivery items progress within agreed SLAs and schedules.
  • Perform application health checks, maintain application certifications and support the ongoing stability of the environment.
  • Participate in testing, unit testing, Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Pega as a Developer, Consultant or Architect within Agile delivery teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Pega BPM / PRPC, including configuration, development and application support.
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
  • Experience working with PRPC, SOAP and HTML/XML within enterprise environments.
  • Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability, with the ability to operate effectively across production support and development activities.
