P6 Scheduler - Perth CBD -

Talent International is recruiting an experienced Scheduler to join one of our clients supporting a complex rail telecommunications program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, integration and maintenance of the Primavera P6 master schedule across multiple rail telecommunications subsystems.
- Build and maintain multi-project schedules using complex logic, coding structures, user-defined fields and tailored layouts.
- Implement schedule-focused Earned Value Management, including physical percent complete, earned versus planned progress and Schedule Performance Index.
- Lead delay analysis, claims support and Extension of Time assessments.
- Develop practical recovery strategies and mitigation plans for schedule slippage.
- Coordinate critical interface milestones with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Track possessions, testing phases and integrated delivery milestones.
- Identify key schedule risks and opportunities and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior planners and uplift planning capability across project teams.
- Champion continuous improvement across planning systems, tools, standards and processes.
Skills & Experience
- 8-10+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in rail, mass transit or complex telecommunications systems – essential.
- Expert-level Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management capability.
- Advanced experience with multi-project scheduling, complex logic linking, Global Change, user-defined fields and schedule layouts.
- Strong Earned Value Management experience.
- Demonstrated delay analysis, EOT and claims support experience.
- Experience scheduling multi-vendor technology rollouts, core networks and field infrastructure installations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading planning teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in high-performing project environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or a related technical field.
- PMI-SP or PMP certification is highly regarded.
