The Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will support a broad Microsoft-based environment while working across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, meeting-room technology and associated infrastructure. You’ll own issues through to resolution where possible and engage specialist technology teams when escalation is required.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing position where you will troubleshoot issues, manage service requests and ensure employees have reliable access to the technology they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 desktop and end-user support across Windows, Microsoft 365, PCs, Macs and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, remote-access and video-conferencing issues, identifying root causes and escalating where required.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, workstations, printers, phones and other workplace technology.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, ensuring tickets are documented and resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Support office technology activities including installations, moves, changes and equipment deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, configuration standards and troubleshooting information.
  • Follow established ITIL and Service Management processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience providing Level 2 desktop / IT support within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, including Teams and OneDrive.
  • Experience supporting PC and Mac hardware, mobile devices, printers and workplace peripherals.
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across hardware, software and end-user technology issues.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or a similar IT service management/ticketing platform.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support users across different levels of technical capability.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing tickets and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
