Instructional Designer // Contract roles

We’re looking for experienced Instructional Designers to join a large-scale transformation program within a major Australian organisation.

These are hands-on roles for Instructional Designers who can take ownership of learning solutions from initial requirements through to design and development. You’ll work closely with SMEs, Change Leads and business stakeholders to turn complex process and system changes into practical, engaging learning content.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging digital and self-paced learning solutions.
  • Create learning materials from scratch using Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Develop eLearning modules, videos, simulations, Quick Reference Guides, learning bites and other supporting materials.
  • Work with SMEs and stakeholders to understand learning requirements and translate complex information into clear, practical content.
  • Support learning initiatives relating to business, process and technology change.
  • Manage your own deliverables and work independently within a large transformation program.
  • Explore opportunities to use AI tools to support and improve learning design and content development.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as an Instructional Designer / Learning Designer, ideally within a large and complex organisation or Financial Services or Banking sector.
  • Hands-on experience with Articulate 360, Rise and/or Storyline.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud / Adobe Suite to create learning content.
  • Strong end-to-end instructional design capability and the ability to build learning materials from the ground up.
  • Experience developing a variety of digital learning assets.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting large transformation, system implementation or change programs would be highly regarded.
  • Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential for all positions.
