Infrastructure Cloud Architect

  • 6-12 Month Contract
  • Sydney – Hybrid
  • Up to $950/day incl. super
  • NV1 clearance mandatory

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Architect to take ownership of architecture and solution design across a complex enterprise technology environment.

This role sits at the intersection of cloud, infrastructure, security and delivery, working on significant technology initiatives and helping determine how infrastructure solutions should be designed and implemented.

You’ll work closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders, translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable and practical architecture while providing technical leadership throughout delivery.

What you’ll be working across:

  • Cloud and infrastructure architecture across Azure and/or AWS
  • Hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
  • Compute, storage, networking and connectivity
  • Identity, access and infrastructure security
  • Cloud governance, resilience and availability
  • High-level and detailed solution architecture
  • Architecture patterns, standards and technical roadmaps
  • Supporting engineering teams through implementation
  • Working with security, infrastructure, cloud and application stakeholders
  • Reviewing technical solutions and resolving complex architecture challenges

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years’ experience across infrastructure, cloud engineering or architecture
  • 3-5+ years in an Infrastructure / Cloud Architect capacity
  • Strong enterprise experience across Azure and/or AWS, hybrid cloud, networking, compute, storage and identity
  • Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, secure infrastructure solutions
  • Active NV1 clearance mandatory
