About the Role

Supporting a workforce of approximately 10,000 FTE, you will work closely with leaders across a complex operational portfolio to deliver practical HR advice and workforce solutions.

The role combines organisational change, workforce planning, case management and leadership development within a multi-award and enterprise agreement environment. You will build strong relationships with managers, strengthen their people management capability and help navigate competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build leadership capability through coaching, mentoring and tailored development initiatives.
  • Analyse workforce data and metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop HR tools, guidance and processes that improve service delivery and employee experience.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and day-to-day support to an HR Advisor to ensure consistent HR service delivery.

Disciplinary matters are managed by a separate HR team, so previous employee relations experience is not required.

About You

  • A minimum of one year of local Western Australian HR experience.
  • Experience supporting a large, fast-paced and complex organisation.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build productive relationships across different levels of an organisation.
  • Confidence coaching, influencing and advising senior leaders and operational managers.
  • A practical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in human resources, business or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

What’s on Offer

  • Ongoing temporary engagement with strong potential for a permanent opportunity.
  • Broad HR Business Partner role with both strategic and operational responsibilities.
  • Regular engagement with senior leaders across a large and diverse workforce.
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Opportunity to contribute to workforce strategy, leadership capability and improvements to HR services.
