We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead to lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable digital solutions. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership and offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative AI-enabled projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, product owners and business stakeholders to define technical direction, improve engineering practices and deliver high-quality, cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and delivery of full-stack applications.
  • Develop scalable front-end solutions using React and TypeScript.
  • Build robust APIs and back-end services using Node.js.
  • Design and deliver secure, scalable solutions within AWS.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and code-review support.
  • Establish development standards and promote clean, maintainable code.
  • Make architectural decisions covering performance, security, integration and scalability.
  • Contribute to AI projects involving generative AI, large language models and intelligent automation.
  • Support CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code and cloud deployment practices.
  • Work with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience across TypeScript, React and Node.js.
  • Proven experience leading full-stack engineering teams or technical delivery streams.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on AWS.
  • Experience with relevant AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS and SNS.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture, APIs, microservices and integration patterns.
  • Experience with AWS security, IAM, monitoring and cloud-native development practices.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience mentoring developers and improving engineering capability.
  • Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs or machine-learning-enabled products.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities.
