Join a major ERP transformation program focused on improving the quality and readiness of enterprise data ahead of the introduction of a new cloud-based ERP platform.

This is a hands-on data role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail. You’ll work across legacy HR, finance, procurement, travel and expense data, identifying quality issues, investigating their causes and driving practical remediation before migration to the new environment.

The Role

Working across business and technical teams, you’ll take ownership of data readiness activities across multiple legacy systems and data domains.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting, profiling, analysing, cleansing and validating complex enterprise data
  • Identifying and quantifying data quality issues and undertaking or coordinating practical remediation
  • Developing repeatable checks, scripts and controlled cleansing procedures
  • Working with system administrators, data owners and SMEs to confirm business rules and validate remediation outcomes
  • Identifying potential archiving candidates and producing data quality measures, dashboards and readiness reporting

About You

We’re particularly interested in:

  • Strong hands-on enterprise data analysis and data quality experience
  • Practical capability across SQL, Excel, Power Query, reporting tools or comparable technologies
  • Experience delivering data readiness, legacy data cleansing or preparatory work for an ERP or corporate systems transformation
  • Experience identifying data quality issues and personally undertaking, automating or coordinating remediation
  • Experience working with ERP, HRIS, finance, procurement, travel and expense or similar corporate data
  • Strong ability to work across technical teams, business representatives, data owners and subject matter experts
  • Experience assessing inactive, obsolete, redundant or superseded records for potential archiving
  • Ability to manage a multi-domain data readiness workload and communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders

Why Consider the Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical piece of a broader ERP transformation, with the quality of the legacy data directly influencing the success of the new platform.

Rather than being a purely reporting or requirements-focused Data Analyst role, you’ll stay hands-on with the data while working across multiple business domains and helping establish a clean, reliable foundation for the future ERP environment.
