Enterprise Architect | 12-Month Contract | Darlington, NSW

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a 12-month contract based in Darlington, NSW. Joining an established ICT architecture team, you will support business-as-usual activities and project delivery, ensuring technology solutions align with organisational priorities and long-term digital strategy.

This opportunity suits a strategic thinker who can translate complex business needs into practical architecture guidance and work closely with stakeholders to support informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide user-centred design to deliver a cohesive and optimised experience across IT platforms and services.
  • Develop technology solutions aligned with business operations and digital strategic objectives.
  • Guide IT project planning and delivery to ensure alignment with organisational strategy and the ICT Master Plan.
  • Develop and maintain strategic technology road-maps, including transition plans from current to future-state architectures.
  • Support the integrity, security and governance of enterprise data assets, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  • Provide architecture advice and assessments for proposed solutions, technology trials and digital initiatives.
  • Evaluate strategic alignment, architectural fit, risks, dependencies, market alternatives and implementation considerations to inform governance and investment decisions.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture and solution assurance within a complex organisation.
  • The ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies, road-maps and actionable transition plans.
  • A strong understanding of architecture governance, data governance, security and user-centred design.
  • Experience assessing technology options and communicating risks, dependencies and recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
