Employee Relations Officer
An opportunity is available for an Employee Relations Officer to help navigate employment matters and advocate for fair workplace outcomes. Joining a small, experienced team, you will handle a varied workload spanning individual concerns, industrial negotiations and the interpretation of employment conditions.
What you’ll be doing
- Guiding Members through workplace concerns, offering practical advice and representing their interests.
- Contributing to bargaining discussions and the development of workplace agreements.
- Reviewing employment conditions, researching industrial issues and assessing potential breaches.
- Progressing cases in accordance with organisational policies and keeping clear, accurate records.
- Working with employers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and uphold agreed obligations.
What you’ll bring
You will be comfortable analysing detailed information, communicating with people in challenging circumstances and managing sensitive matters with care.

A background in industrial or employee relations, HR, employment law or advocacy would be valuable. Experience with grievances, investigations, bargaining or case management, and familiarity with Western Australia’s industrial relations framework, will be well regarded.
