DevOps Engineer – NV1 Clearance Required

$800-$827 per day including super | 12-month contract | Sydney

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a delivery team on a 12-month contract in Sydney. This role requires a current AGSVA NV1 security clearance and strong Azure experience.

The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week required in the Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and optimise build, release and deployment processes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate environment provisioning
• Support Azure cloud and containerised environments
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability
• Implement security, compliance and governance controls
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and environment issues
• Work closely with development and operations teams
• Drive continuous improvement across DevOps tooling and automation

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar role
• Strong Azure experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, ARM, Bicep or similar
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• PowerShell, Bash or similar scripting skills
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

As part of your application, you will be asked to confirm:

• Current AGSVA NV1 security clearance
• Sydney-based availability
• Ability to work from the office 3 days per week
• Strong Azure experience

Contract: 12 months
Rate: $800-$827 per day including super
