SQL Database Administrator (DBA) – NV1 Clearance

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain secure enterprise database environments.

This role will suit a hands-on DBA with strong Microsoft SQL Server experience who is comfortable working within complex ICT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Monitor database performance, availability and capacity
  • Undertake database backups, restores, patching and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot database incidents and performance issues
  • Support database security, access controls and compliance requirements
  • Assist with database migrations, deployments and environment improvements
  • Work closely with infrastructure, application and development teams

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Experience with SQL Server administration, monitoring and performance tuning
  • Strong knowledge of backup, recovery and high-availability solutions
  • Experience troubleshooting complex database issues
  • Understanding of database security and access management
  • Experience working within enterprise or government ICT environments will be highly regarded

Mandatory Requirement

  • Current Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance
