Looking for a hands-on technical role working with cutting-edge infrastructure? We’re seeking Data Centre Technicians to join a large-scale data centre, supporting the installation and deployment of critical IT infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in data centres, IT hardware, networking or structured cabling who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Key activates
- Installing and configuring server racks, hardware and associated infrastructure
- Running, connecting and testing fibre and copper cabling
- Performing rack and stack activities, cable management and labelling
- Troubleshooting installation issues and completing quality checks
- Maintaining accurate documentation and installation records
- Working with technical teams to deliver infrastructure projects safely and efficiently
Skills and experience
- Experience in IT hardware, networking, cabling or data centre environments
- Understanding of server hardware, Linux and networking fundamentals
- Experience with fibre optics, structured cabling or rack installations highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting equipment and working at heights
- Ability to follow technical procedures and work collaboratively
