- Lead change activities supporting the implementation and adoption of ASD Essential Eight controls.
- Drive adoption across initiatives including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Application Control, Patching and Restricting Administrative Privileges.
- Translate complex technical and security requirements into clear, practical and user-friendly communications and workflows.
- Conduct detailed change impact and readiness assessments, identifying resistance, operational risks and potential workflow impacts.
- Develop practical mitigation and engagement strategies to support successful adoption.
- Partner with ICT project teams to align change milestones with government cyber directives, audit commitments and regulatory timelines.
- Engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups across corporate, technical and operational environments.
- Track user readiness and adoption, providing clear reporting on risks, progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Support the transition of security initiatives into BAU, embedding sustainable cyber security practices and behaviours.
About You
You’ll be an experienced Change Lead or Senior Change Manager with a strong track record delivering organisational change across complex technology environments.
Importantly, you’ll also bring a solid understanding of cyber security governance and security uplift initiatives, allowing you to translate technical security requirements into meaningful change for end users.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong senior-level Organisational Change Management (OCM) experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering change across cyber security, technology adoption or security uplift programs.
- Working knowledge of the ASD Essential Eight maturity model and controls.
- Experience supporting adoption of security controls such as MFA, application control, patching and privileged access.
- Strong experience developing and executing change, communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated capability conducting change impact, risk and readiness assessments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly messaging.
- Experience measuring adoption, readiness and change outcomes.
- Experience successfully transitioning project changes into sustainable BAU practices.
- Previous experience delivering large-scale technology or security programs within government/public sector environments will be highly regarded.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead meaningful organisational change while helping strengthen cyber security maturity across a large and highly diverse environment.
