Construction Manager

• Major project with an ASX-listed manufacturer

• Initial 2 to 3-month contract

• $151 per hour including superannuation

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a major project with a leading ASX-listed manufacturer.

This is an initial 2 to 3-month contract requiring a hands-on, delivery-focused professional who can effectively coordinate construction activities, manage contractors and drive safe project outcomes.

The Role

As Construction Manager, you will oversee construction activities and contractor performance across the project. You will coordinate multiple groups of people, maintain momentum against project requirements and ensure work is completed safely and effectively.

The position will require approximately 50+ hours per week, with some weekend work potentially required depending on project demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction activities across the project

• Oversee contractors and multiple groups of site personnel

• Drive project progress and ensure key deliverables are achieved

• Maintain a strong focus on safety and safe work practices

• Identify and address construction risks, issues and constraints

• Coordinate with project stakeholders to support effective delivery

• Monitor contractor performance and hold teams accountable for outcomes

About You

• Approximately 10+ years’ construction management experience

• Construction management experience across commercial, heavy industrial or manufacturing environments

• Demonstrated experience managing contractors and sizeable workforces

• Strong safety focus within construction and project environments

• Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment

• Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

• Available immediately or within two weeks

Candidates should be comfortable committing to the initial 2 to 3-month contract period. Further work may be possible, but an extension cannot currently be guaranteed.
