Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer delivering a major infrastructure upgrade in the Illawarra. Join an experienced project team and contribute to the delivery of critical industrial assets.

The role
We’re seeking two Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) Construction Coordinators to oversee remaining electrical installation works across key plant areas.

You’ll take ownership of a defined construction package, coordinating contractors and supporting safe delivery through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate electrical site installation works, contractors and supporting resources.

  • Monitor progress, quality and delivery against project milestones.

  • Oversee work packs, permits, isolations and safe work requirements.

  • Resolve site issues with engineering, operations and construction teams.

  • Maintain construction records and support commissioning and handover.

Skills and experience

  • Electrical trade qualification and Electrical Supervisor licence.

  • Construction White Card.

  • 10+ years coordinating capital project or maintenance works in heavy industry.

  • Experience delivering major plant outages and managing contractors.

  • Strong understanding of heavy industrial plant operations and equipment.

  • Strong safety leadership, communication and planning skills.
