Card Production & Administration Officer
Talent International is currently recruiting Card Production & Administration Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Parks, NSW. The position is a 5-month contract with a view to be extended. The role pays $37.50/hour + Super.
Hours of Work: 7 hours p/d, 35 hours p/w (Full time)
This is a hands-on operational role supporting the production and distribution of government-issued cards, including driver licences, photo cards, firearms licences, mobility parking permits and other cards issued through the client.
You will operate and reload printers, prepare and package cards, move boxes and consumables, complete quality checks and assist with general administration and data entry.
Available shifts include:
- 7:30 am-3:00 pm
- 8:30 am-4:00 pm
- 9:30 am-5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and reloading card-production printers
- Performing manual handling and physical production duties
- Preparing, packaging and distributing finished products
- Moving boxes, stock and printer consumables
- Completing quality-control checks to ensure required standards are met
- Managing stock rotation and assisting with inventory control
- Working efficiently to meet high-volume production targets
- Assisting with the general upkeep of production equipment
- Completing data entry, administration and record-keeping tasks
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working cooperatively with the team to achieve daily targets
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be:
- Reliable, punctual and committed to working five days per week
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving boxes
- Comfortable remaining on your feet for extended periods
- Detail-oriented and capable of completing accurate quality checks
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A cooperative team member with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Confident using computers and able to learn new systems quickly
- Available to work any of the listed shifts, Monday to Friday
Previous government or printing experience is not required. Full training and instruction on the relevant software will be provided. Reliability, physical fitness, attention to detail and a willingness to learn are the main priorities.
