Associate Systems Analyst

  • Location: Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Adelaide

  • Contract: Up to 12 months, with extension options up to a further 24 months

  • Working arrangements: Onsite for the first six weeks, with hybrid arrangements considered afterwards

  • Security: Must be able to obtain a Baseline clearance

We’re looking for an Associate Systems Analyst to help translate business needs into technical requirements and support improvements to applications and systems.

What you’ll do

  • Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.

  • Prepare functional specifications and support software and interface design.

  • Work with business users, developers and testers to deliver system changes.

  • Support test planning, execution and reviews.

  • Investigate issues and maintain clear technical documentation.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience gathering, prioritising and managing requirements.

  • Experience contributing to software or component design, including functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Experience working collaboratively in an Agile environment.

  • Exposure to feasibility assessments or user experience evaluation would be beneficial.

  • Government experience is highly desireable
