APS6 Quality Officer
Talent International is currently recruiting for an APS6 Quality Officer to work for one of our Federal Government clients at any of the client’s location in NSW. The position is a 12 months contract with the possibility of extension. The role pays $60.26 per hour + Super.
7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week
This role focuses on improving the quality and consistency of early childhood planning and decision-making. You will conduct quality assurance reviews, support and mentor team members, provide technical advice and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities relating to early childhood planning and decision-making.
- Support and mentor team members to strengthen their technical knowledge and improve the accuracy of decisions.
- Help develop and implement improvement strategies aligned with branch goals and strategic objectives.
- Track trends and analyse findings to support continuous improvement.
- Engage with key agency stakeholders to share information and build their understanding of early childhood planning.
- Manage escalations and provide appropriate resolutions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, procedures and standards to support compliance and effective decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching team members, setting priorities and managing workflows.
- Ability to provide detailed technical, professional, policy and operational advice on complex matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis skills to support informed decisions.
Desirable experience and qualifications
- Qualifications in allied health, education or disability.
- Experience in early childhood planning and/or working with children with disabilities.
- A minimum of two years’ NDIA planning experience.
