API/Integration Support Analyst

We’re seeking two experienced API/Integration Support Analysts to join a Federal Government agency, supporting critical integration platforms and services.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to maintain API availability, investigate incidents and support digital partners. This is a hands-on production support role involving MuleSoft and IBM API Connect.

What you’ll do

  • Troubleshoot production integration incidents and coordinate resolution with technical and development teams.

  • Maintain and configure MuleSoft and IBM API Connect APIs and applications.

  • Test APIs and environments, and monitor API health, performance and usage.

  • Support digital partner registration and onboarding, working with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Improve support processes and maintain operational and configuration documentation.

  • Participate in an on-call roster to maintain the availability and reliability of critical integration services.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience working with APIs and/or integration technologies.

  • Experience troubleshooting issues and managing competing priorities in high-pressure environments.

  • A strong understanding of API and integration technologies, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

  • A quality-focused approach to improving processes and service delivery.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Highly regarded

  • Administration and configuration experience with MuleSoft or IBM API Connect.

  • Exposure to CRM systems.

  • An interest in accessibility and accessible design and development.

Mandatory requirements

  • Australian citizenship.

  • Current Baseline security clearance.

  • Availability to work a minimum of three days onsite per week.

  • Willingness to participate in an on-call support roster.
