AI Engineer
- Build practical AI agents and automation across Microsoft Copilot Studio, Foundry and Power Automate
- 12-month contract + 2 x 12-month extension options
- Current Baseline security clearance required
Join an established AI team delivering practical AI and automation solutions across a Microsoft enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys actually building, configuring and testing AI solutions. You’ll work across AI agents, workflows, integrations and automation, helping take approved use cases from proof of concept through testing, deployment and operational handover.
The Role
Working alongside senior technical and architecture leads, you’ll contribute to the delivery of enterprise AI solutions across Azure, Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building, configuring and testing AI agents, automations and workflows using Copilot Studio and Power Automate
- Supporting solutions across discovery, prototyping, testing, deployment and ongoing operations
- Configuring integrations, connectors, actions and knowledge sources across Microsoft services
- Troubleshooting agent, workflow, authentication, access and integration issues
- Applying established security, privacy and governance requirements while maintaining technical, testing and support documentation
About You
We’re particularly interested in:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate
- Practical experience developing or supporting AI solutions using Azure and Microsoft Foundry
- Experience with AI agents, prompt configuration, evaluations, content safety or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Exposure to Azure AI Search, integration services, monitoring or operational support
- Experience integrating solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, APIs or enterprise data sources
- Good understanding of security, privacy, identity and access, data protection and governance within regulated environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary technical teams
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, CI/CD, Azure API Management, Azure Monitor, Application Insights or Microsoft Purview would be highly regarded
