There are three Senior BA opportunities (two-year fixed term) to be filled, each will be focused on a different workstream(s) in a major digital change programme:

  • Asset Management Information System [AMIS]
  • Financial Information Management System [FMIS]
  • Customer Relationship Management System [CRM]
  • Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management [P3M] toolsets
  • Health & Safety Management System
  • Information Management toolset.

As a Senior BA, working on one or more of these workstreams, it would be ideal to have a proven background in the subject matter. These are new projects so the focus will be to develop documentation to meet the future state. It will be important for the Senior BA to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Gathering requirements through facilitating workshops and one on ones
  • Develop future state documentation such as process maps, user stories, traceability matrices and benefits realisation maps
  • Assisting business transition and change
  • Assisting with training documentation

To be successful in this role you will bring:

This is a two-year fixed term contract to assist Wellington Water in undertaking a major modernisation of its Information Management systems. The Delivery Lead will play a central role in shaping and executing this workstream. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of a SharePointOnline implementation and related systems uplift, while helping to embed modern delivery practices in a maturing environment. This is a newly created role with real scope to influence outcomes and culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a key workstream within a large-scale digital transformation
  • Establish clear plans and delivery structures for a greenfield SharePoint Online implementation
  • Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders including vendors, tech leads, and business owners
  • Support cross-functional team development and agile ways of working
  • Provide reporting, risk and issue oversight, and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale technology change programmes (ideally 5+ years in PM or delivery lead roles)

Integral to this team will be a Senior Programme Coordinator, whose purpose is to lead and enhance the coordination services that support the IT transformation programme.

This is a two-year fixed-term contract that will work closely with the Programme Manager, Delivery Leads, and senior leadership.

  • Help to set up or refine systems and processes that will support the overall success of the programme delivery.
  • Assist in the development of programme reporting tools and take ownership of ongoing reporting coordination.

The Opportunity

Wellington Water is undertaking a significant enterprise-wide digital change programme and are seeking an experienced Change Lead to drive the business change element. In this 2-year fixed term contract, you will not only lead change activities in the digital programme but develop the change practice for the digital initiatives and establish BAU capabilities to embed lasting change within the organisation. This position is critical to ensuring the successful adoption of new systems, technologies, and ways of working across Wellington Water.

In this role, you will:

  • Assess organizational readiness for change
  • Identify and manage change risks
  • Lead the development of communication and training plans
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to minimize resistance and ensure smooth change adoption

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience in leading and supporting digital change initiatives. You will have a strong background in business change, with proven experience driving transformation at scale.

You’ll bring:

  • An ability to assess organisational readiness and support large-scale change
  • Prior experience guiding stakeholders through change, building engagement, and ensuring lasting adoption
