As the Project Co-ordinator, you will work alongside a Senior Technical Project Manager/ Project Lead / within the front door to support, co-ordinate and enable project activities in the end to end delivery of large systems delivery projects.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Co-ordination of activities in detailed, integrated project plans to plan and track project delivery through design, build, testing and implementation and transition to operational teams.
  • Co-ordination and management of project control registers for dependencies, risks and issues, change control, actions etc.
  • Liaising and co-ordination of stakeholders internally and externally in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Working within the Agencies governance and project delivery process for large scale projects, following standards, frameworks, policies and guidelines in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

As the Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for providing support to the Taskforce Program Director and Program Manager to effectively plan, prioritise and manager the Taskforce’s portfolio of projects and programs.

As the Master scheduler you will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing expert advice to program and project teams on program and project scheduling including clear dependencies, deliverables and milestones management aligned to the Agency’s Portfolio Project Management Framework (PPMF) and Portfolio Project Management (PPM) Tool.
  • Developing and maintaining best practice strategies within the EPMO’s Resource and Schedule Management.
  • Leading planning activities with program and project teams to assist with their schedule development and maintenance throughout the program and project lifecycle.
  • Developing and maintaining a portfolio schedule, and providing regular reporting updates on the status of the portfolio schedule.
  • Supporting the program and project teams with resource planning.
  • Resolving any inaccuracies or issues that the program and project teams encounter related to scheduling and resource planning.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with at least five years’ experience in EPMO within a government environment.

The role
