About the role:
This role plays a pivotal role in supporting the agency to deliver clear, accessible and timely digital marketing (email and SMS) communications to participants, their carers, providers and wider audiences.
- Deliver and optimise the Agency’s newsletters
- Deliver targeted digital marketing campaigns to improve knowledge and understanding of the Scheme
- Establish and expand the Agency’s email relationship with its audiences
- Incorporated reporting, monitoring and feedback on communications to improve knowledge and understanding of the Scheme and change
- Supporting delivery of high-profile digital marketing (SMS and email) campaigns aligned to Agency priorities
- Supporting planning and delivery of the Agency’s 4 x subscriber-based newsletters
- Supporting improvements to the Agency’s digital marketing products, with a focus on accessibility and impact of direct communications
- Conduct baseline evaluations of digital marketing products and support continuous improvements, informed by monitoring and reporting across digital platforms
- Support planning and delivery of email campaigns to expand the digital marketing product offer, retain IP warmth, and support increased understanding of Scheme reform and broader behaviour change campaigns
- Work with colleagues across the Division to coordinate marketing communications across various channels
- Supporting the improvement of processes, practices and governance
- Support peers’ growth in digital marketing capability
- Look for opportunities to build consistency and quality across Agency digital marketing products
- Support the expansion of team scope and service offer

Skills and experience required:

- Ability to deliver high quality email marketing campaigns using digital marketing experience and expertise
- Advanced skills in quick learning and using a variety of digital and ICT platforms
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to support and deliver projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work through change and ambiguity in the workplace
- Working with a level of independence, under broad direction, to deliver quality outcomes and resolve issues
- Ability to manage your own time, upward and peer manage to deliver quality outcomes and meet deadlines
- Communicate well and make decisions and recommendations based on professional judgment, evaluating risks.
- Plan and monitor work processes and reflect on performance
- Marketing campaign best practice including digital (email and SMS) marketing
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) email and mobile studio, capability and best practice
- Understanding and ability to apply digital accessibility standards in the context of direct digital communications
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related disciplines (highly desirable)
- Passionate about working within the disability sector and positively improving the lives of individuals and their families.
