About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to the design and delivery of exceptional service experiences. As a Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping participant and staff experiences, ensuring that services are user-centred and aligned with organisational goals. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by advocating for the voice of participants and stakeholders while driving innovative service design solutions.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to gather user insights.
- Documenting current service states and identifying areas for improvement.
- Designing and testing future service experiences through design-thinking sessions.
- Advocating for participant and stakeholder needs in service design processes.
- Overseeing end-to-end service experiences to ensure consistency across touchpoints.
- Evaluating proposed solutions and improvements at both conceptual and tactical levels.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Proficiency in conducting research with diverse and vulnerable populations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts.
- Expertise in creating prototypes and mock-ups using Figma.
- Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and iterative improvement processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex service design challenges.
- Understanding of business processes and their impact on policy outcomes and public service delivery.
